A follow-up to my email several months ago. We recently returned from our annual camping trip in the Sierras. I’ve fished the stream coming into the lake successfully for years – always getting some nice trout, though small. I’ve never had success In the lake! So, this year with my great European night crawlers, and the new hook system from JRWfishing.com I tried the lake, not really thinking it would be any different. BUT after only 15 minutes here’s what happened (see photo). The next day I went out in our little boat and hooked an even bigger German Brown Trout – but lost him as I got him near the boat. Beth, I’ve been meaning to thank you for the worms. I put them in the bin as soon as I got home and they seemed pretty healthy: lots of wriggling, so they arrived well. Unfortunately, the heat here in Tracy, CA reached 106 that week and by the weekend they were desperately trying to escape the bin. I have since moved the bin into the downstairs shower (much to my wife’s chagrin!) and they are really thriving. I think there are even more than before! Anyway, thank you for the courteous service and healthy worms!

Beth! The worms just arrived. They appear healthy and wriggling. I put them into my worm factory and lightly covered them with soil. Anything else I should know?
